Precise Punched Slot (PPS) Screen
1. Structure characteristic
PPS Screen mainly consists of perforated base pipe, stainless steel filtration jacket with punched slots, and end rings. The base pipe shall be API casing or tubing with perforated holes. The filtration jacket with punched slots shall be made of stainless steel with high quality through precise punch according to the specification. The filtration jacket with punched slots shall be welded to the perforated base pipe through end ring.
2. Performance characteristic
1) Accurately controlled width
The width of the precise punched slot screen shall be accurately controlled within 0.30~1.00mm and the degree of accuracy is ± 0.02mm，which can be better match the sizes of different formations and satisfy the requirements of down hole sand control.

2) Excellent anti-corrosion ability
PPS screen jacket is made of high quality stainless steel, and has good ability to resist corrosion from acid alkali and salt, and can meet the special requirements of the wells containing H2S CO2, and high cl- . The slot will not get wider after long-term down hole service.
3) Excellent body strength and anti-deformation ability
The PPS screen has excellent body strength and anti-deformation ability because of its structure. The filtration jacket is supported by the base pipe, and the strength of the perforated pipe is only 2-3% reduced compared with the API casing or tubing. Even if there are partial deformation, the slot width will not get wider, and the sand control will be not lost.
4) High density slot、low flow résistance
The flow résistance is lower because the open hole of the PPS screen is 2~3 times of the normal slotted screen, thus it is in favor of getting high oilgas output.
5) Nicer technics，easy to highrate and large scale production.
Note: The length of base pipe and filtration accuracy can be adjusted according to the special requirements of the user.

The PPS screen is manufactured firmly according to ISO 9001 QC system, and has a full process quality control. Especially every filtration jacket is strictly checked by glass ball checking method, thus guarantee the reliability of sand control.
